We had a fantastic stay at the Wildcat Lodge. The attention to detail is phenominal. The whole house sound system is easy to figure out and was in use from the time we got there until the moment we left. The kitchen was very well equipped with every appliance imaginable. The hot tub got a lot of use, too, and there was even a hose provided to fill the water back up each morning. We liked the proximity to grocery stores, a canoe livery, and state parks. But even as close as it is to everything, one of my favorite parts about the place is that anywhere around the lodge, I couldn't see a single power line it feels like total seclusion. All weekend our guests were talking about making this an annual tradition!

We had a group of 13 enjoying this property. We loved the many full and 1/2 baths, this was a huge plus. Each room had it's own television and ceiling fan. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was an extra frig on the bottom level. We had a fun time using the dart board, pool table, fosseball, and table shuffleboard. The outdoor grill was better than our own, multiple seating areas around the wraparound porch. Would definitely recommend this home to everyone.

My family had a great time. Everyone was so helpful and were there to answer any questions. My daughter had a 15 month old and he had a blast running laps in the huge living area. We would stay there again on our next visit to Hocking Hills. The pictures on the website a very accurate. The house was spotless and the grounds were beautiful. Was close to grocery, attractions and trails. We even walked the trail at the lodge!!

This was the perfect spot for my extended family. We enjoyed making smores down at the fire pit, relaxing by the fireplace on the deck, and the gas fireplace inside. Nightly hot tub dips before bed. The kitchen had everything we needed and was clearly labeled so anyone could put things away where they belonged so as our visit went on we did feel more and more at home. I don't think we've all sat down to eat at uneatable before. The pool table and darts got the most use but everyone had a turn at shuffleboard and foosball. The rooms were good sizes with adequate storage for our things. Private bathrooms for each of the bedrooms was a nice touch I think the upstairs bedroom was in the hall, not through the bedroom, but still felt private. Because of the washer and dryer I was able to come home with clean laundry instead of dirty. I even showered while it ran and did not have noticeable temperature changes in the water. We were met at the property and felt welcomed and well-informed for our stay. Other things of note A the driveway was intimidating when we first arrived. The first time is the worst. Subsequent times got easier and easier. B A critter visited the porch in the night to raid our trash and we had to clean it up in the morning. I'd make sure to bring to the driveway cans before bed. C There was no cell phone service. For a getaway that could be a great thing. We were able to set our phones to receive calls when in range of wifi. The wifi did not give us any trouble while we were there. I was not always able to pick it up outside, but that didn't cause us distress. We had a great time and the place was everything we could have hoped. We would definitely choose this place again if in the area. 06/18

Hello! My family and I 2 brothers' families parents stayed in the Wildcat Lodge over Memorial Day weekend and it was PERFECT! The house had space for each family to have their own bedroom with bathroom, so there was plenty of private space along with shared space. We were able to easily access all activities in the Hocking Hills area in the mornings, then spent the afternoons watching the 5 kids under 5 all play in the yard. Clean house/ great time and I'd highly recommend this property!

Super Bowl Weekend 2018
Allen, Grove City, OH
Review Posted: Feb 28    Date of Visit: February
Nic and the Burtonwood Lodging Co. provided another top notch experience for our annual Super Bowl weekend experience. Wildcat Lodge is an ideal spot for our group to meet and reconnect, and we are happy to have found our annual meeting place. The fireplace is, hands down, the best feature - indoor and out. We always find a ready supply of kitchen tools, dishes, pots, and pans. If forced to identify one thing that would improve our experience, I would suggest a coffee pot with a quicker brew time. Let that soak in for a minute if you're thinking about renting Wildcat Lodge. Of all the complaints you read when searching for the perfect place to hold an outing, how many times is it something as trivial as the coffee pot? Thanks Nic, we highly recommend Wildcat Lodge.

My family stayed at the Wildcat Lodge last year and we LOVED it so much we immediately booked for the following year. The staff at Burtonwood Lodging is a delight to work with and were there to help with anything we could have possibly needed. The lodge is Gorgeous, Clean, Open Spaces, and well supplied with cooking supplies, bedding, towels. It even had a washer and dryer which was wonderful for us. Our kids loved the game room and played Pool and Darts daily and the HOT TUB was fabulous and so peaceful. The Wildcat really makes you feel at HOME and brings a natural FAMILY feel as soon as you walk in the Doors. THANKS BURTONWOOD LODGING!

My whole family got together at Wildcat lodge to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The cabin is AMAZING!!! No detail was left out. We especially enjoyed the back deck and exterior fireplace. The view was incredible. All hocking hills parks were an easy 15 minute drive away. The owner and manager of the property were extremely easy to work with, and quick to respond to any requests. I can't think of one thing I'd change. We will be back and would absolutely recommend Wildcat lodge to everyone.

We wanted a place to spend Thanksgiving weekend with our young adult children. We found the perfect place! The cabin was very clean and had many special touches. It was comfortable and very cozy for us to kick back and relax. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, making an outdoor fire, hiking at nearby Conkle's Hollow, and playing games with the gas fireplace burning in the background. The large screen tv was perfect to cheer on our favorite football team. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our own meals. I would definitely recommend Two Trees Cabin for an escape from the daily grind.

We had the entire family, 13 of us, for the weekend at Hidden Valley. The cabins and property are as beautiful as the photos on the website. My daughter in law said we were not camping, we were "glamping", for sure! The 5 little grandsons loved the gameroom loft. We brought food for the weekend and prepared all the meals in the full kitchen. We enjoyed the hot tub and the campfire! We all had a wonderful and memorable experience!

Family vacation at Two Trees
TracyBrian, Butler Pa
Review Posted: Sep 30    Date of Visit: September
We choose a different cabin and location every year for our family vacation. Two Trees cabin definitely exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, and organized! We had a minor issue with one of the TV's in the cabin and I emailed the owner, Nic. Before we knew it, Nic was at our door and trying to fix the problem. It was actually the TV going bad (which looked like a new TV) so he offered to take a TV from the (vacant cabin) next door. We told him it was not necessary. The next day, Nic called and said he bought a new TV and was having someone come install it. This really impressed us!! Our grandsons stayed at the cabin with us, along with our son and daughter in law. The kids loved finding the turtles and frogs in the little pond on the property. Most attractions (trails, & caves) are with in 15 minutes from the cabin. I could go on & on, but my wording is limited (LOL) I would highly recommend Burtonwood lodging/ Two Trees cabin to all ! Thank you for a wonderful relaxing week. The Stewarts / Butler PA

Review Posted: Sep 26    Date of Visit: January
When I looked for a place to stay for our 40th Wedding Anniversary with our family including 8 adults and 5 children ages 2-8, my first search criteria was "child friendly". The Hidden Valley property was the first choice and fit our needs perfectly. The game room loft was a big hit with the kids. The two cabins also worked well for quiet naptimes/early bedtimes for the youngest 2 children. All of the adults were impressed by the décor, cleanliness and the amenities of the hot tub, wifi, Direct TV, the firepit. I learned a new word from my daughter in law, she said we are "glamping"....glamorous camping. Yes that fits. Definitely a place to stay with a large group including children.

The weekend was amazing from the start when we received excellent service when we arrived. Every detail of the place was explained and it was clear to see why the place was so nice. Everything was well thought out for caring for the place and having the items available if needed. The place was clean and in excellent shape all the way down to the hot tub and yard keep up. We had a rather large group and the house allowed us to be close together or give us space when needed. Your home provided us a location to bring our family together for some much-needed family time. We loved the sound hook up and fireplace on the back porch. This was a favorite spot! We explored the woods around and found this to be an enjoyable little hike. My kids have asked if we can come back and bring their friends. So it's clear to say they also enjoyed themselves. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet place to get away and spend some time with family.

Review Posted: Jul 17    Date of Visit: July
My wife and I started this Canoe Trip weekend 17 years ago. We have been staying in cabins for the last 8 years and every year something was missing. Either the layout was not quite right, or there was not enough seating area or not enough sleeping areas. So every year we would search for a new cabin. Well that is until now... Wildcat Lodge was AMAZING! There as 18 of us and not once did you have to wait to use a bathroom because there was plenty of them. Weather did not matter because there was a huge covered porch to sit on and not get wet. Last couple of nights the temperatures were cool so we had a fire going in the outdoor fire place one night and in the backyard firepit the other. It was so much fun. Out of 18 people that stayed there not a single person had a complaint. We had everything we needed. Thank you all so much for providing us with a wonderful lodge to spend few days hanging out with friends. We look forward to staying with you again!

We had 10 people staying for 3 days and everyone loved the lodge. Plenty of sleeping space and having 4 bathrooms was great. It can hold more than 10 but this was perfect for us. We sat on the deck every morning for coffee and sat around the fire pit at night. The dining table fits plenty of people and the living room is huge. Ziplining, Horseback riding, and Old Man's Cave are all just 15 minutes away. The property is very secluded and peaceful. Everything was clean and they met us right at the front door when we arrived and offered help for anything all weekend long. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Wildcat Lodge was amazing and accommodated our 17 person party perfectly. The lodge was very clean and well organized. The furniture and amenities all seemed new or near new. The entertainment devices (TV/House Audio)were top of the line, yet easy to use. The family loved the outdoor fireplace and the abundant seating on the deck. The sound separation was great. The surround sound for the TV in the lower level would be in use and you would not hear it the next level up. The location of the lodge was great, set secluded on a hilltop yet still close enough to hit the major sites. You won't be disappointed if you choose the Wildcat!

The lodge is beautiful, very clean and comfortable, with a terrific modern kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, with lots of towels in the bathrooms. There are plenty of cups, plates, cutlery etc, and lots of space and comfortable sofas to relax on and to spread out. The literature was accurate describing the place, and there was excellent info about the park and the area. The instructions about the hot tub and checking out procedures were very helpful. The setting is gorgeous, right in the middle of a forest, and there are comfortable chairs on the patio. There is also an outside fire place, and a gas fireplace in the living room. I highly recommend this place, especially if several families want to get together. We had a wonderful time, with my son and daughter, and my nephew and niece who were visiting from Cape Town.

We checked into Two Trees for a nice weekend getaway from Columbus. The cabin was only about 45 mins from Worthington, Ohio. It was easy to get to, but also secluded enough. The cabin itself was very clean and much larger than we expected. We had a group of four and had more than enough room. The cabin could easily accommodate 8-10 people. We enjoyed the two different "upstairs" areas as well as the two different entertainment rooms. This place would be even more fun to visit in the summer time when the weather is warmer!

This trip was just what my wife and I needed after a hectic holiday season. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by Ron, who gave us the key and showed us around the cabin. He was very pleasant and instructed us to call if we had any issues during our stay. The cabin itself is beautiful and very spacious. It looked very well maintained just like the pictures on the website. The garden tub in the upstairs bathroom was an added relaxing bonus. The kitchen was very updated and had all appliances and utensils we would need. As instructed, we brought our own spices, coffee and condiments because that is not provided. The outside jacuzzi was very relaxing and we liked that it was not enclosed or under an awning so we could see the stars at night. It was bitter cold when we stayed so we didn't get a chance to hike very much, but there is property that we were able to explore and take in the natural surroundings. As stated on the website there is a $500 deposit that they hold on to until after you check out. Once we checked out they confirmed that there had been no problems the deposit was promptly returned to our card. I was glad that it didn't take very long, as sometimes these things can take a number of days to get refunded. Overall, we had an awesome time together. We will definitely be back, and next time we will bring our kids because this place has plenty of room and is so spacious. Very happy and satisfied with our stay and the company that owns it.
