1-4pm. Join a papermaking pioneer to learn her specialized form of pulp painting and decorating as she shows you how to create greeting cards suitable for framing, sending or gift giving. Renowned artist and teacher Mary Manusos will teach participants to learn how to paint with pigmented paper pulps and to press sheets of paper together in order to create a unique work of art. Mary is an accomplished paper artist, professor of art at Ohio University, and an old friend of Paper Circle. Please visit www.marymanusos.com to see examples of her captivating pieces. You will use a variety of pigmented pulps, and are encouraged to bring in threads and fragment of fabric to embed. We will also have these on hand.
